HOW ADOPTION WORKS
Adoption is easy! Our friendly adoption staff will work with you to find the right cat or kitten for your home.
Get started by checking our Facebook page or stop by our habitat at our Petco location - Teays Valley. If you have questions or wish to visit with an animal, please contact us via our Facebook page. We do require an approved application in order to set up an appointment to meet our pets outside of our various scheduled adoption events.
Once your application has been approved, we will schedule an informal consultation to ensure that you and the pet you’ve selected are a good match. During this process we will also review the animal’s medical and behavioral records, explain policies and services available to adopters, and help you choose the right pet supplies.
ADOPTION FEES
As of May 2023, our adoption fee will be $80 per cat/kitten. This includes the following:

A general physical examination and behavioral evaluation by our veterinary services staff

Spay/neuter surgery.

Feline distemper combination vaccination. Age-appropriate felines also receive a rabies vaccination whenever possible.

Deworming medication.
-
Flea/tick treatment (if needed).
